
John Hodgson suggests that 58 A should be SEEYAPATER
Which would make 32D CLUMPS ... which certainly seems more likely than "CLUMLS" but I don't have the clues anymore.

I really didn't like this puzzle!
Oh, and the clue for 32D (Clumps) was "Heavy, Dull Sounds"
"See you Pater, Alligator" is because the clue was "Parting Words to a swamp daddy" where daddy = pater
