11/29/08: Canine Connections

QUESTIONABLE
64A LADALMATIAN "Tennis player's canine" should probably be NADALMATION since I got the "handle" clue wrong a couple of puzzles ago. It should probably be ANSA. Which makes the tennis player Raoul Nadal. Aha. Thanks, Google.

CORRECTIONS
Thanks, Howard for this: "99A should be "N": sculptor (and furniture designer) Isamu Noguchi, actresses EriN Gray and EriN Moran."
And here's a correction from Smartiepants1: 20A "Wild speech" should be RANT, giving you ENS for 6D "Printer's spaces".

Hi, 20A "Wild speech" should be RANT, giving you ENS for 6D "Printer's spaces".

I looked up both EN and EM in the dictionary, and both do relate to printing; however, the defn for EN fits the down clue better and RANT fits the across clue.

Cute puzzle, though, hey?? I love GUATEMALAMUTE.

Actually, I got ENS and RANT originally, missed them in this solution.

As a sometimes letterpress printer: an em is a space the width of an "m"--about as wide as it is high (the font size); an en is (you guessed it) the width of an "n," about half an em.
